A location has been announced for the Niagara Health Hepatitis C Care Clinic’s community awareness event on May 11. The program will be hosting it’s Canadian Viral Hepatitis Elimination Day event at St Andrew’s United Church at 5645 Morrison St. in Niagara Falls from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
On Wednesday May 11, 2022, Action Hepatitis Canada was joined by CanHepC, CanHepB, the Canadian Liver Foundation and the Canadian Association for the Study of the liver to mark the inaugural “Canadian Viral Hepatitis Elimination Day” in Ottawa. All communities across Canada are working together to eliminate hepatitis as a public health threat by 2030. The Niagara Health Hepatitis C Care Clinic will be hosting it’s inaugural “Canadian Viral Hepatitis Elimination Day” to raise awareness of hepatitis, liver health and the care and services of the program. The event will encourage individuals to learn about hepatitis testing and immunizations. In addition event attendees will learn about the care and treatment for hepatitis C
