The Welland Horticultural Society is holding a plant sale on Saturday in celebration of the Victoria Day long weekend, which traditionally marks the beginning of the gardening season.
The sale happens May 20th from 9 a.m. to noon at Building B of the Niagara Regional Agricultural Society fairgrounds, at 1100 Niagara St.
Garden enthusiasts can explore a diverse selection of plants, including annuals, perennials, and shrubs.
The society will also be accepting donations. The proceeds from the sale go towards various society activities, such as providing scholarships for horticulture students at Niagara College.
