On Monday, Nov. 20, the CNR Bridge on St. Paul Street West will shut down for all vehicular traffic due to safety concerns related to both combined traffic and snow load.
The decision to close the bridge before winter weather sets in has been made.
Plans for the bridge’s removal are scheduled to commence in the spring of 2024.
Despite the closure, all businesses on St. Paul Street West will continue to operate and remain accessible.
Pedestrians and cyclists can still use the bridge until its eventual removal.
