The Canada Revenue Agency has dismissed 185 employees for wrongfully claiming the federal COVID-19 benefit, an increase of 65 since the last update in September.
Approximately 600 cases involving current employees receiving the Canada Emergency Response Benefit are under review.
Of those reviewed, 116 employees were deemed eligible, while those ineligible are expected to repay the benefit.
