Niagara EMS is gearing up for the solar eclipse on Monday to make sure everyone is as safe as possible.
There will be an additional 17 ambulances within the Niagara EMS fleet on Monday, as well as medics on ATVs and bicycles to navigate crowded areas where people are viewing the solar eclipse.
Niagara EMS also says they’ll be upstaffing medical dispatchers, and working with local fire departments and St. John’s Ambulance volunteers.
