Next weekend, Toronto Motorsports Park Cayuga will be jam packed for Victoria Day, as it’s the first major race weekend for a lot of drivers and fans alike.
For Gary Kraus, owner of the Pony Up Racing Nitro Funny Car, this weekend is also a return for him behind the wheel after battling cancer.
Kraus adds that the long weekend often brings people from far and wide to racetracks, and expects much the same with Toronto Motorsports Park next weekend – as they’ve got a number of different options for race fans.
Kraus adds that his car can often do a quarter mile race in 3.8-seconds, boasting upwards of 7000 horsepower – making it a spectacle for both first-time race goers, as well as fans that don’t often see Nitro Funny Cars.
The weekend will see a number of drag races, vintage cars, and a performance from the Practically Hip. Tickets are available for individual days, as well as the entire weekend, at the track’s website.
