The Ontario government is investing $15.4 million in the District School Board of Niagara to expand Fitch Street Public School in Welland.
This project will create 205 new student spaces, as well as 49 licensed child care spaces, supporting local working families.
This expansion is part of a broader $1.3 billion investment in new school construction and expansions across Ontario, announced by Stephen Lecce, Minister of Education. The same announcement sees investment in a new school in Niagara Falls as well.
