The Welland Jackfish picked up another home win on Thursday, 8-3 over the Brantford Red Sox.
Greyson Barrett hit a bases-clearing triple in the 8th inning to cap off a 7-run frame for the Jackfish en route to the victory. Jackfish starter Jack Harford went 4.2 innings and allowed three runs on eight hits with a walk and two strikeouts.
With the win, the Jackfish improve to 4-3 during the young season, good for fourth in the Intercounty Baseball League.
Welland is back in action Saturday afternoon, with a 1:05 first pitch scheduled in London.
