A 19-year-old has been arrested in connection to the death of a Welland man yesterday.
Just after 10:30am, police responded to a call in the area of Broadway and Pietz Avenue, after a man was found with life-threatening injuries. Officials say he later died in hospital.
Shortly after, Sommer Etherden was arrested and charged with second degree murder. Police say there’s no threat to public safety.
