Homicide detectives have named the victim in a Welland homicide earlier this week. around
Police were called to the area of Broadway and Pietz Avenue Tuesday around 10:30am, after a man was found with life-threatening injuries. He was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
Investigators have identified the male as 24-year-old Mathew Theal of Welland. 19-year-old Sommer Etherden has been arrested and charged with second degree murder.
