When searching for a provincial candidate for Niagara West, Ontario’s NDP Leader knew the man for the job.
Dave Augustyn, who previously served as Mayor of Pelham from 2006 to 2018 and held a position on the Regional Council, has been announced as the Ontario NDP candidate for the upcoming election.
Ontario NDP leader Marit Stiles explains why Augustyn is the right candidate.
Stiles says that even after falling in the 2022 election to MPP Sam Oosterhoff, Augustyn remained hungry and involved.
Augustyn contested the Niagara West seat in 2022, where he garnered over 8,600 votes.
