It’s Easter weekend, and that means it’s egg hunt time, with several events planned across the Niagara Region.
Coming up on Friday, an Easter egg hunt will be held at Fireman’s Park in Niagara Falls beginning at 11 am. The event is free, but those attending are asked to bring along a non-perishable food item for Project Share.
Kids can search for Easter eggs on Friday at Centennial Park in Grimsby, running from 10am until 1pm, with donations collected for McNally House Hospice.
And there will also be an egg hunt on Friday at the West Lincoln Community Centre Park from 9:30am until noon, with donations being accepted for West Lincoln Community Care.
Saturday will be a busy day, with Village of Hope hosting an egg hunt in Jordan at noon, with a barbecue and inflatables on site.Donations will be collected at the gate.
The Haig and Fitzgerald neighbourhood associations are hosting an egg hunt in St. Catharines Saturday beginning at 11 a.m. at Catherine Street Park, with food donations being collected for Community Care of St. Catharines and Thorold.
The annual Easter egg hunt in Port Colborne starts at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Vale Health & Wellness Centre, with the Easter Bunny arriving via tug boat at 10 a.m. on West Street. Therte will be activities set up inside the Vale Health & Wellness Centre between 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
And there will also be an Easter egg hunt at the Beamsville Lions Club Park starting at 9:30 am Saturday, with cash and food donations collected for Community Care of West Niagara.
