Around 1:30 Monday afternoon, emergency personnel were called to the area of Lundy’s Lane and Byng Avenue in Niagara Falls following the report of a collision. NRP officers and Niagara EMS paramedics located an adult male with what were believed to be life threatening injuries.He was air lifted to an out-of-town hospital for treatment and is now in stable condition. Investigation has revealed that a Toyota Prius was attempting to turn left onto Lundy’s Lane when it collided with an electric scooter, ejecting the driver of the scooter.At this time, the collision remains under investigation with no charges laid. A section of Lundy’s Lane was closed for several hours due to the investigation; it has since re-opened.
