Niagara SPCA and Humane Society has announced a total donation of $20,000 from their official pet licensing partner, DocuPet. The gift was made possible via DocuPet’s Safe&Happy Fund, which collects automatic donations through designer licence tag purchases and direct donations made by residents through the modernized DocuPet online platform. The $20,000 donation will aid in sheltering, veterinary care, and animal adoption at the shelter, which received more than 2,200 animals into its care in 2022. To celebrate the donation, DocuPet is offering $5 off a regularly priced designer tag for all Niagara pet owners with promo code NSPCA5 at checkout. During checkout, residents can contribute to DocuPet’s Safe&Happy Fund, which collects optional donations and was a conduit for the recent $20,000 donation. DocuPet is available to residents in Haldimand County, Lincoln, Niagara Falls, Pelham, Port Colborne, Wainfleet, Welland and West Lincoln. All dogs are required to hold a valid licence. Pet owners can learn more and register for pet licences online at niagaraspca.docupet.com. Licensing by mail, phone, or in person is also available.
