Niagara Centre MPP Jeff Burch is among the critics of the Ford government’s response to the Greenbelt controversy.
Burch says the implication a second staff member was selecting Greenbelt sites to hand over to developers makes it even more incredulous that Housing Minister Steve Clark was unaware of what was going on in his own office.
Clark’s chief of staff who played a key role in the government’s move to open up thousands of hectares of protected Greenbelt land for housing development has resigned.
Burch who’s the NDP critic for Municipal Affairs wants to know who the second staffer is – and what their role was. Burch also stands by Opposition leader Marit Stiles’ demand that Premier Ford force Minister Clark’s resignation from Cabinet.
