A new federal dental benefits plan is being introduced by Health Minister Mark Holland, starting with seniors aged 87 and older.
The phased rollout, budgeted at $13 billion over the next five years, is designed for individuals with an annual household income under $90,000 who lack private insurance.
Eligibility will gradually expand in 2024 to include all qualifying seniors, children under 18, and those with disabilities.
