Three local beers have come home with some hardware from the Canadian Brewing Awards.
Bench Brewing Company in Beamsville won gold in the category of North American Style Lager for their ‘Lincoln Lager’ brew, while Oranje Son Brewing in Caledonia won gold for their ‘Niagara’ brew in the Bock Traditional German Style category.
Merchant Ale House in St. Catharines won a bronze in the category of ‘Wood and Barrel Aged Strong Beer’ for ‘Skullcrusher’.
In total, there were 45 winners in Ontario.
