CAA has unveiled its annual list of worst roads, which includes a top 5 for the Niagara Region.
Portage Road in Niagara Falls was named the worst road in the region, according to the annual vote by residents through CAA’s annual Worst Roads Campaign.
It’s not the only troubled road in Niagara Falls, as Lundy’s Lane and Willoughby Drive finished second and third respectively, while Sider Road in Fort Erie and Ridge Road in Welland rounded out the Top 5.
The region’s largest city, St. Catharines, did not make an appearance on the list for 2024. None of Niagara’s Top 5 registered on the Ontario Top 10, which was headlined by Aberdeen Avenue in Hamilton.
