The Niagara Falls Public Library’s Victoria Avenue Branch turns 50 this month, and they’ve got a celebration planned.
Community Engagement Manager Laura Martin says there will be lots going on.
Martin adds that while trying to plan a celebration half-a-century in the making, it takes some time.
The big event to celebrate the anniversary is an interactive murder mystery fundraiser. The event will take place at the Victoria Avenue location, with doors opening at 6:00pm, and the show commencing at 6:45pm.
All funds raised will support the preservation of the library’s Local History collection, helping ensure the community’s stories are accessible for generations to come. There will also be a silent auction filled with exciting items to bid on, giving guests more ways to contribute.
Other, free celebrations will happen November 23rd throughout the day.
