Niagara Regional Police have made an arrest in connection to a shooting in St. Catharines.
Police say just after 1:30pm on Friday, gunshots were reported in the area of Division Street and Riordon Street, where two men were found with gunshots wounds. One of the men died at hospital, while the other is in life-threatening condition.
On Saturday, after hours of negotiations, 47-year-old Daniel Rosebush was arrested and charged with second degree murder and attempted murder. Police are still searching for an associate of his involved in the shooting. The associate is described as a white male, approximately 35-40 years of age with a thin build. He has brown wavy hair and scruffy goatee, and was wearing a dark hooded bomber (waist length) style jacket. He has dark jeans and dark running shoes on.
