Expect some challenging road conditions on your drive home in the Niagara Region today.
Environment Canada has issued a freezing rain warning, as well as a special weather statement for the area, warning of up to 10 cm of snow between this afternoon and tomorrow, along with freezing rain.
Officials are predicting a few millimeters of ice buildup due to the freezing rain, which could make roads very slippery. If you’re driving in this weather, be sure to leave early and adjust your driving to the conditions.
