Driver charged after travelling nearly 20 kilometres the wrong way on QEW

A Hamilton woman is facing charges after driving for nearly 20km the wrong way on the QEW.

Early yesterday, police got calls about a car travelling Toronto-bound on the QEW, in the Fort Erie-bound lanes. OPP from both Niagara and Burlington intervened, eventually stopping the car near Casablanca Boulevard.

54-year-old Carolann Tost of Hamilton now faces multiple criminal charges.
