St. Catharines residents taking part in the Terry Fox Run.
The annual Terry Fox Run in St. Catharines was a success yesterday, with organizers leaving very pelased with the outcome.
Almost $80,000 was raised during the run at Lakeside Park, likely the most in the history of the St. Catharines run since its inception in the early 1980s.
It’s estimated that about 1000 runners took part, also resulting in one of the largest turnouts. Over 650 communities across the country take part in Terry Fox run ceremonies, as well as a number of runs being held at schools.
