I Like It, I Love It! Our feature where we ask for recommendations based on a weekly theme. This week’s theme was easy and inexpensive Christmas decorations. We got some great recommendations:
Ashley: “I was able to decorate my railing with. Pine, lights, ribbon and balls for under 14$ just from getting everything at the dollar store.”
Emily: “Reindeer plant decoration- Take a wooden spoon and decorate the rounded end like a reindeer (red nose, pipe cleaner for antlers, googly eyes) and put the stick end in the planter pot in the dirt”
Olivia: “I made all of these myself including the bags. No chimney to hang them so I made a board to hang them off.”
Kim: “garland with beads lights on mantle”
Heather: “I’ve made my own Christmas wreath for my door.”
Amanda: “Dollar store bulbs, a little paint and some epsom salt. Cheap and easy.”
Maranda: “My kids and I go hiking for pinecones ..we paint them or add glitter for homemade Christmas ornaments”
TaylorLee: “Make your own baskets by venturing out and trimming some pine/collecting pinecones and then all you need is less than $5 worth from the Dollar store and you cab make up a few gorgeous ones! Grab a cute jar or vase, buy those cheap glass beads in green/red/white/whatever and instant decoration!”
