Niagara Regional Police conducted R.I.D.E. spot checks in Port Colborne and St. Catharines on Friday, April 26.
Officers stopped around 400 vehicles, checking for alcohol or drug consumption. Eight drivers had to provide breath samples, and one underwent field sobriety tests.
Three drivers had their licenses suspended for three days due to an “Alert” result.
One driver without a license, insurance, or proper plates was caught, along with another driver without insurance.
Additionally, seven tickets were issued for various offenses.
