A joint investigation by numerous law enforcement agencies led to the seizure of 11.5 kilograms of suspected cocaine and 123 kilograms of illegal cannabis.
The investigation began in February 2024, before a search of the Port of Montreal uncovered the drugs, valued at around $630,000.
Subsequent searches on June 27 in Niagara Falls, Oakville, Brampton, and Kitchener resulted in the arrest of 37 year old Darko Tambur of Niagara Falls and 53 year old Damir Dedic of Kitchener, who face charges of trafficking, exporting, and importing drugs.
