Niagara Regional Police are searching for two suspects after a sexual assault in Welland.
Police say Friday around 9:00pm, a woman was struck in the head and knocked unconscious when walking on East Main Street near Cross Street. The woman awoke to find she had been dragged into an alley by two unknown men and left there, before bringing herself to the hospital.
One of the suspects is described as wearing a dark balaclava with possible brown sideburns and eyebrows, while the other has a medium build. Any residents or businesses in Downtown Welland are asked to contact police if they have any footage between 8:00pm and 4:00am.
