The City of Welland is working on its 2025-2030 Multi-Year Accessibility Plan to improve accessibility and comply with legislation.
Residents can provide input through an online survey, available until February 28, or at in-person sessions at the Welland Public Library, YMCA, and Community Centre.
Developed in consultation with The Herrington Group, in-person information sessions are available at:
- Welland Public Library (Main branch) on Thursday, February 6, from 3 to 6 p.m.
- Welland YMCA on Friday, February 7, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Welland Community Centre on Saturday, February 8, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Alongside the public survey, the City is engaging with its Accessibility Advisory Committee to host meetings and discussion groups to ensure a comprehensive and inclusive plan.

The plan is also supported by discussions with the Accessibility Advisory Committee.
