Despite some warmer conditions over the past few days, snowmobilers have had a pretty good February on trails across Ontario.
During snowmobile safety week however, OPP officers in the region west of us patrolled trails and issued 49 total charges including two impaired riding charges, two muffler violations, and 38 documentation offenses related to permits, licenses, registration, and insurance.
The campaign focused on preventing unsafe riding behaviors that cause serious accidents, injuries, and property damage.
