Yellow Door Theatre: Robin Hood
A New Musical Adaptation
ROBERTSON THEATRE
A new take on the story of Robin Hood, this adaptation about a group of disenfranchised youth forced to squat in the abandoned development of Sherwood Forest, focusses on the themes of love, friendship, courage, acceptance and determination in the face of
adversity.
When Robin, a teenage girl, arrives in Nottingham, she quickly shows her peers how to outsmart the greedy developers and corrupt Sheriff by devising a plot to get money from the rich to give to the poor.
"Nothing is quite as satisfying as the opportunity to work with young people and help them give a voice to their concerns and triumphs. I am overjoyed to be able to partner with YDTP on this venture and work within the community I was born and raised in. “
- Lezlie Wade
